CSKA Moscow beat Zenit at home in the VTB League semi-finals with 85:71 and won the series with 3-1.

From the get-go, both teams pushed the pace and sharpshooters played a key role in the opening minutes. The teams shot 11 times from beyond the arc, with the home team leading the way: CSKA made 5/8 of its three-pointers and Zenit made 4/8. The teams were tied 26-26 early in the quarter.

The pace in the second quarter was a bit slower, and CSKA had a 45-40 lead by halftime. The team from Moscow slowly consolidated that lead to 66-58 at the end of the third quarter, and then when the lead was in double digits in the final quarter, it became clear that CSKA would win this game and reach the final.

In that final CSKA will be facing Unics Kazan.
